Subject: Forwarding the Ministry of Education's "2024 Campus Disaster Prevention Topic Digital Teaching Material Selection" Implementation Plan, encouraging school teachers to actively register and participate.
Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter dated September 25, 2024, Ref. No. TAI-CHIAO-ZI (6) No. 1132703761.
2. To stimulate teachers' innovation in digital disaster prevention education and promote the digital teaching materials of this project, thereby enhancing the breadth and depth of teaching and improving the overall disaster prevention teaching development capacity.
3. The teaching material selection is divided into 5 major learning stages. Participants include current teachers in public and private elementary schools, junior high schools, and senior high schools (including substitute and temporary teachers), as well as students or interns enrolled in teacher education programs.
4. The selected teaching materials must be related to either "Geological Disasters" (referring to disasters caused by natural or human-induced geological processes, such as landslides, mudslides, debris flows, large-scale collapses, land subsidence, coastal changes, mud volcanoes, or other geological disasters) or "Earthquake Disasters." The teaching material types are not limited to "thematic curriculum," "integrated curriculum," or "specialty curriculum."
5. The registration period for this selection is from now until November 29, 2024 (Friday). For details on the number of selections, submission guidelines, schedule, review criteria, and awards, please refer to the attachment or download them from the "Latest News / Project Announcements" section of the Disaster Prevention Education Information Network (Website: https://disaster.moe.edu.tw/WebMoeInfo/home.aspx).
